The class of 1952 dedicated their annual to coaches Royal Morrison and Toby Nelson for their work with the students of Polson High School to create one of the most formidable athletic departments in Montana. Quote: “They have created an effect which has raised the standards of the whole school in teamwork, sportsmanship, and pride in our school.” Coach Morrison coached Football, Basketball, and Track winning three state titles with his track teams (1952, 1955, 1956).
